I'm thinking of adding hysteresis to the comparator since the strobe effect isn't always a totally sudden on and off, there seems be some 'bouncing' that makes it kind of fade in and out. And maybe adding hysteresis to the main 20kHz dimming part would make it dim better and more stable-y? And THEN I could add a switch that makes the modulation do a triangle fade in and out instead of a hard pulse. Like a class D amp! BUT THEN I would need to decide how I want to change the controls, do I want to add a 'modulation depth' knob? (Yes I am a huge synthesizer nerd, it is how I understand the world) Will I even use any of these features??? Maybe I should just be happy that it actually works after four complete failures.
