I got to shoot out at the Salton Sea last weekend! This was only my second time shooting there and I definitely want to go back. There is so much to explore! The history alone is fascinating. To summarize, this was a booming vacation destination until poorly managed agriculture polluted the โseaโ (lake) and killed everything in it and ultimately made the surrounding area unlivable. Now itโs a semi-popular photo spot, full of decay and weird art installations. Sunset paints the area in a completely different light though, making it a deceptive paradise.
