

This week I took really good care of myself, you guys (˃̣̣̥ w ˂̣̣̥) I have a bad habit of being unnecessarily harsh on myself, which only gets worse around the time of the month where I have less energy because of hormones and stuff. This month I decided to really plan for it instead of trying to bulldoze through; I scheduled more content in advance so I could make space for relaxation when it was needed, I prepared some healthy foods for myself so I'd have snacks when the time came (instead of spending too much money on takeaway, which makes me feel guilty), and I made a point to not have any alcohol or too much caffeine as soon as I hit PMS time. And u know what ... as soon as I started to feel yucky, I put everything down, got into very comfy clothes, made my bedroom super cozy (lit some candles, tidied etc) and just ... enjoyed some relaxation time, like I knew I needed. If you could take care of someone else who really needed a break and some quality down time, how would you show love to them? How can you do that same thing for yourself a little more often?
