Ever since our visit to Tombstone and Bisbee, day tripping has become one of our new favorite things, and when Martin wanted to go to Bearizona for his birthday, that's just what we did!
We stayed in a hotel conveniently located minutes from the district and spent the remainder of the day, eating at some of the coolest cafes and restaurants and exploring the historic little town on foot. The next day, before heading home, we visited Bearizona for the first time. Bearizona is a wildlife park that starts off with a drive-thru area where you can observe the animals in their natural habitat, then ends at the walk-thru area where you observe the animals in their exhibit. That was cool! Made a few pit stops down Route 66, then completed our trip with dinner in Prescott before hitting town. What a fun time!
