It passed a year.
I know it because my grandparents sent me another box of "pinhões" - the seeds of araucária pine trees.
This seeds feed our people in the cold winter since the first humans arrived. The curi - guaraní word for araucaria - are here since Jurassic ages.
There's only two species remaining. The araucaria angustifolia is the curi which grows in the course of Paraná and Iguazú rivers. The araucaria araucania is native from the south of Chile.
Scientists say that when the europeans arrived they just cut off the other species to grow commodities as soy bean, wheat and coffee trees.
We still here.
And we'll remain here.
To protect our ancients who nurture us.
I hope we can count on you, my loved fans.
