February 2021 (24) ➡️ February 2016 (19). I went back and forth about if I wanted to make this post here, but I want to continue to break the stigma around mental health and spread some positivity to my favourite people. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. The second photo was after my last su1c1de attempt. I was so sure back then that I was making the right choice after battling with my mental health from a y0ung age. To hold onto bitter feelings and hate is so stagnant. Nothing outside of you can stop you, but nothing outside of you can save you either; so move and grow with forgiveness and love. Be fearless in your convictions. If you cultivate a genuine sense of appreciation, consideration and respect for others, you also grow in confidence, happiness and inner peace. Remember, you are greater than the sum of your parts. You are unique because all of your traits and talents and desires and successes and failures and experiences all come together in a way that no other person has experienced before, or ever will again. Give yourself the time you need for your soul to heal and your body will thank you. 💓 Follow your heart, but remember to take your brain with you 🧠 I’m not going to lie and say I haven’t had bad thoughts since, but there’s so much reason to stay in this world. I’m truly so grateful to have you all in my life. We’ve got to stick together, especially with everything that 2020 threw at us. 💓
