This photoshoot was done by an incredible Artist and musician Fernando. It was the first body paint experience I have ever had. The human body in Europe is treated with such normalcy and respect. Statues everywhere of naked women and men, whilst children play football and in parks around them. Saunas and changing rooms that are mixed at pools for families and female and males. In Australia I did not grow up this way. The body was much more taboo and shamed. As a swimmer we had mens and woman's change rooms and separate saunas. Unless you had your swimsuit we could sit mixed in a sauna. I was blessed my dad had developed an open mind about the body, which rubbed off on me to understand it was a tool for life and so much more than how our society sees it.
