For the first time in what feels like forever, I can actually say I'm not experiencing depression. I've been hesitant to say anything too early, since I know I'm prone to cycles of intense energy and then intense misery - but I think, after much trial and error over the last two years, I've finally found a combination of meds + lifestyle + workflow that's letting me feel good on a regular basis.
Finding this balance was so hard, and I know that the destination I've arrived at is, like anything else, only a temporary one; life will make new hurdles eventually and I'll have to learn how to climb them when the time comes. But for now I'm feeling really proud of myself for fighting tooth and nail for my own wellbeing and being able to say "I made it to where I wanted to go".
