In class we are learning how to properly insert catheters! 💧 For those of you who don't know, Catheters are a a soft hollow tube, which is passed into the bladder to drain urine and once inserted, a small balloon device is inflated, which prevents the catheter from falling out! ❌ If you’ve had one… you know they are not fun 😩 but that is why I am learning the best way possible to make this easy and painless!

Saturdays by the lake 💜🚤 It’s extremely important to wear an SPF when you’re out in the sun and apply it every 2hrs! I always make sure I’m covered with a hat as well 🤠 When browsing for an SPF make sure you buy one that is broad spectrum protection as this protects against BOTH UVA (aging) 👵🏻 and UVB (burning) 🥵 with SPF of atleast 30! Skin cancer is more common than we think! Protect yourselves 🥰

I love a new scrub set ♥️👩🏼⚕️ In the 1860s Florence Nightingale, the mother of modern nursing & one of her students designed the original nurse's uniform, drawing inspiration from nuns By the 1980s and 90s the formality in nursing uniforms began to fall away, and scrubs became the go-to uniform for nurses 💉🩺 (THANK GOD! 🤣)
