One thing I love is working out at new gyms when Iโm traveling! The new equipment ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธnew vibe ๐new people to catch tips from ๐ช๐ผ Iโm like a kid in a candy store ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Hereโs few variations you should try on your next leg or HIIT (high intensity interval training) day โก๏ธโก๏ธ
In the first video โก๏ธ I started off with regular squats with 25 pounds on each side (95 pounds total) I maxed out of reps then jumped right into jumping side steps ๐ฅ SUPRISE more super sets ๐ yโall know I love those!
Next โก๏ธ In the second video Iโm just doing regular good ole deadlifts that I jumped into right to after. Kept the weight relatively low and focused on the stretch in my hamstrings ๐ฅ but boy was I feeling these!
Last โก๏ธ I jumped into some leg raises with a medicine ball to work that core! Working your core will not only help those ab muscles pop through (given that your maintaining a healthy balanced diet), but will also improve your strength in other movements like squats! ๐

PAUSE SQUATS โธ๐๐ฅต
Squats are essential to building not only strong legs and a firm muscular booty ๐ค but a strong core as well!! It truly is an exercise that requires you to use multiple muscle groups when done correctly โ
Pause squats in particular are helpful in recruiting those slow twitch muscle fibers. You increase your TIME UNDER TENSION (TUT) ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ This will be helpful in increasing muscle mass and upping your strength and rep count in other movements (other squat variations, deadlifts, and so on) ๐ช๐ผ๐๐ผ

I spend two days a week meal prepping! Itโs so important to supplement your workouts with a healthy consistent diet. That doesnโt always mean counting calories and tracking your macros! Iโve learned over time how much food my body needs and what portions I need, depending on the goals Iโm trying to reach! With just these few simple ingredients >>>
- ground chicken
-steak
-red potatoes
-peppers
-onions
-jasmine rice
-flour tortillas

Leg day is not always about pushing heavy weight! ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ Today Iโm doing a light load โhypertrophyโ day ๐๐ผUsing lower weight than I usually do, and maxing out on reps on every set!
This exercise is called cable kickbacks ๐ฏ its main target is the glutes! ๐ itโs important to keep your non working leg stable, and push back and up with your heels leaving your toes pointed to the floor!

Mix all this together in a frying pan and add crushed pineapple after the meat is almost fully cooked to add some sweetness! ๐
I divide this into 4 meals and pair it with cilantro lime jasmine rice! Give it a try ๐ด
Good morning friends!! Itโs a back day ๐๐ผ If your training back try adding these to your routine. Make sure your keeping your back straight and not hunching over ๐ฃ happy lifting!
New letโs work off all that delicious food we ate yesterday. Iโm putting all these carbs to woke and hitting legs later ๐ but this morning, I did a quick circuit for an hour to work up a good sweat ๐ฆ try this >>>
-2 back row/ exercise variations- 10 reps each
-Tricep dips- 10 reps
-In and outs on medicine ball- 20 reps
-Kettle belle swing with 25 pound- 15 reps
-One leg step ups on bench- 10 each side with 10 pound weight in hand
-Back rows on bench with 20 pound weights- 10 reps each side
-Ball crunches with 10 pound- 15 reps then pulse in the middle for 10
I repeated it 5 times before I felt completely exhausted! ๐ฅต
Hereโs a tip, workout in a room where they just held a hot yoga class ๐ฅต finishing my leg workout with a light 4 round HIIT circuit. I didnโt hit any specific muscle groups. Just threw together some random exercises that targeted my whole body!
New week new goals ๐ช๐ผ Donโt be afraid to push yourself this week and go beyond what you think you can! I always get more motivated in the winter time. Summer bodies are built in the winter ๐ using a belt and knee wraps helps me feel comfortable when going heavy with squats. Hereโs another tough circuit I recommend trying if your gym has the right equipment. Challenging to the mind and body! Itโs all about working on the speed ๐จ adding a weighted ball in your hands will increase the intensity of the workout
Thereโs so many ways to utilize gym equipment to get in your squats and feel that burn ๐ฅ I love setting up two benches and using a 40-50 pound weight. Go as low as you can and pulse at the bottom. Push it to the max!! ๐ฅต
Switching up workouts and trying new things are the best way to shock your body! I always feel sore the next day when I challenge myself to something new. Try tire flips for a high intensity cardio workout ๐คธ๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Sled pushes! Such a fun workout to really get your heart rate up in a short period of time. And it feels badass! Definitely recommend these for a full body workout that are sure to feel the next day ๐ฅ always push yourself, weight doesnโt matter but make sure your challenging yourself!
Letโs talk hip thrusts! Maybe hands down the best exercise to target the glutes ๐ what do you think?
